Job Description

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility in Palm Bay Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors. This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment in a Class 1 cleanroom.

Qualifications :

Education Requirements :

• AS or AA in electrical mechanical military training or 5 years relevant work experience.

Experience Requirements / Skills:

• 5 years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP AMAT 8330/8110 AMAT P5000 MxP Gasonics Aura 1000 Gasonics Iridia STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong electronic skills
• Excellent Oral communication skills
• Excellent Written Communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40lbs.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets found in the Etch area. Additional tool sets include Axcelis Fusion Semitool SST Semitool SRD and manual wet benches.

Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Renesas is unable to sponsor applicants for work visas for this position now or in the future.

Hours are on a compressed work week 3 days on 7am to 7pm one week and 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts available.

Due to the nature of this position and the required access to areas where ITAR-controlled ar ticles and/or technical data may be present candidates must meet the applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access. Th is includes individuals who are:

• A U.S. citizen or U.S. national;
• A lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder); or
• A protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Additional Information :

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay FL.
