Hotel Sales ManagerPosition Summary: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for increasing the hotel's business by conducting direct sales efforts, follow-up, and proper sales administration.Accountabilities: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts for both the Rooms department and the Food and Beverage Department.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the Catering sales segmentProactively solicit and manage a portfolio of accountsMeet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales goalsMeet or exceed assigned quarterly food and beverage goalsMeet or exceed assigned quarterly solicitation goalsPartner with the General Manager on sales and marketing strategiesCoordinate with Convention Services and Catering on groups involving rooms and Banquet revenueMaintain monthly incentive compensation worksheets and lead source analysisEducation & Experience2 years or more of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredCollege degree preferredCustomer Service experience required, hotel experience preferredStrong communication and relationship building skillsExperience with sales and catering systemsSalary RequirementsThis position offers an annual base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
