Performs quality diagnostic laboratory testing on a variety of specimens.

Qualifications

Education, Certification & Licensure

Pathway I
- Required
  - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  - Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Medical (or Clinical) Laboratory Science
  - ASCP Certification Eligible
- Preferred
  - ASCP Certification
  - AMT Certification
Pathway II
- Required
  - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  - Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or related field (equivalency required or foreign education)
  - NAACLS Accredited Program
  - ASCP Certification Eligible
- Preferred
  - ASCP Certification
  - AMT Certification
Pathway III
- Required
  - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  - U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training
  - Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or related field (equivalency required for foreign education)
  - ASCP Certification Eligible
- Preferred
  - ASCP Certification
  - AMT Certification
Pathway IV
- Required
  - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  - Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or related field (equivalency required for foreign education)
  - ASCP Certification Eligible
  - ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification

Experience:

Preferred
- One or more years of experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory
